Brianne Erichsen
BSW, MC, RCSW

Brianne Erichsen is a Registered Clinical Social Worker (RCSW #19415), having completed 1600 hours of supervised post-graduate clinical hours and the ASWB Clinical Social Work licensing exam. Clinical Social Workers are regulated under the Health Professions Act in Alberta, are authorized to use diagnostic tools including the DSM-V, and provide treatment services that are income tax-deductible and can be claimed under most extended health insurance policies.

Brianne has been offering counselling services since 2016, working primarily with adults within a University setting struggling with overcoming anxiety (social/generalized), depression, trauma, attachment and life transitions, self-esteem/personal identity, stress management, and relationships.

Brianne works from an emotion focused, attachment framework and incorporates bottom up processing methods such as somatic work, EMDR and also uses methods such as Internal Family Systems, CBT, and DBT.

Brianne enjoys working with clients who are ready to identify both healthy and unhealthy patterns of coping, gain awareness of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and how their minds and bodies respond to current and past situations. Brianne's goal is to create a safe, compassionate, non judgemental environment for you to process whatever feels as though it may be getting in the way of you making the change you are longing for in your life. Brianne looks forward to supporting you in creating a felt sense of security and confidence within yourself,  working alongside you in your therapeutic journey. 

Deborah Flowers
B. Ed., MC., CCC

Deborah Flowers is a Canadian Certified Counselor with a Masters in Counselling Psychology. During her Masters, she practiced at the Abbotsford Ministry of Children and Family Development in the Child and Youth Mental Health department where she supported underprivileged children, youth, and their families. Deborah holds a Bachelors of Education and a Canadian teaching license. Deborah has been teaching for 10 years now cross-culturally and in Canada. As a teacher, Deborah specializes in elementary and early childhood education, special needs, and English language learning.

Deborah also speaks fluent Mandarin, Chinese.

Deborah’s therapeutic approach is person-centered, accepting and empathetic, culturally sensitive, and curious. Her areas of focus are trauma, anxiety, depression, identity and self-esteem, conflict and boundary setting, and relationship development. Deborah has experience working with clients through cultural issues, such as life transitions and change, loss and feeling displaced, and identity struggles. Deborah also has experience with assessing and working through suicide ideation and self-harm in adolescents. Depending on her client’s needs, Deborah employs evidence-based interventions
from Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Gestalt, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Deborah believes in coming along side you to work with your unique strengths and empower you towards living your best life. Sessions will include validation, mindfulness, self-exploration, listening, and developing skills for coping and thriving. Deborah’s goal is for you to feel empowered and capable of making and maintaining positive change in your life.
