Here's how to practice Loving-Kindness Meditation:
Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to center yourself.
Bring to mind someone in your life who you care about deeply. This can be a partner, family member, friend, or anyone else who is important to you.
Imagine that person sitting in front of you, and silently repeat the following phrases to yourself, directing them towards that person:
May you be happy
May you be healthy
May you be safe
May you live with ease
Repeat these phrases several times, allowing yourself to feel the warmth and love that arises in your heart as you send these wishes to your loved one.
Next, imagine sending these same wishes to yourself. Repeat the phrases silently to yourself, directing them towards your own heart:

Finally, imagine sending these same wishes to all beings, everywhere:
May all beings be happy
May all beings be healthy
